OK guys I have a great deal that I'm working on at the moment. Unfortunately my trusty bank has come back and said that they class it as semi-commercial and as such require 60% LVR. I'm sure there is a better financial package out there. Any brokers interested? Email me at mia_clapton@hotmail.com

I've just done a semi-commercial with St. George at 80% LVR. Talk to their business centre in Bris - they are v. flexible.

Never Fear,

Disaster has been averted. NAB came through with 95% of price + reno costs. Phew!!

Congratulations.

Are there any financial institutions that absorb mortgage insurance. The smaller banks in the UK insure themselves.

ANZ have been known to captialise mortgage insurance. They did for me - 95% LVR plus LMI to make total security aprox 96-97%. Ask and ye may receive.
