Credit History Question

Due to several stuff ups with St George refinancing two of our loans, we are now signing the 4th set of applications along with resupplying our credit information with the hope that they can get the actual amounts and dispersions correct.

They are claiming that the number of applications taken will not be visible on our credit history.

Can anyone confirm this.

I'd assume not.

It sounds like they've just reissued loan docs on multiple occasions - rather than submitting the loan application multiple times.

However - the only way to really know is to order your credit file.

As annoying as this is, I agree with Jamie. Re-issuing documents generally doesn't incur additional credit checks.

There seems to be a manual process at St George between the assessment of the loan and sending the offer documents. I've seen some strange mistakes made here which can be very frustrating.
