Having some problems at the moment with obtaining a deposit bond. Have a OTP property (Melb) secured for the past year with a bank guarantee (backed by cash in a locked term deposit). Want to change security to a deposit bond for several reasons.Insurers have tightened their requirements noticeably and as some of my assets are tied up in my own business am having some knock backs.
Need a financial person/broker to work over my options, maybe even arrange loan pre-approval for both short term help on deposit bond and longer term peace of mind when the place is finally built!! Would be good if this person were in suburban Melbourne in case need to sit down over a few beers!!
