depreciation question

Simon, given it's a 1983 build, you won't be able to claim any building write-off on the original construction. You will be able to depreciate the renos, though.
Then there are the Assets: stove, floor coverings, blinds, air con, carpet etc.
Depreciation year one might be around $1,500-2,000. Less for the subsequent years. But that's just a guess based on a couple of photos.
We can sort this one out pretty easily - and for less than $650. Give me a yell when you have access to the place.
