Depreciation schedule timing

Dear forum

I will be renting out my brand new apartment in 6 months time. Does it make any difference if I get the depreciation schedule now or in 6 months time? Cashflow is the only point I see for getting it later.

Does anybody know any good QS in the Eastern Suburbs of Sydney?

Adrian, have used BMT too. They are very good and not as pricey as others.

Hi Adrian!

No, it makes no difference when you order your QS depreciation schedule. Personally, I'd wait until closer to the end of June and pay for it in this financial year rather than next to shore up the tax deduction.
