destiny financial solutions

From: Bruce Graham

G'Day,
Has anyone on this forum heard of the above
people?
I have just started to read their book
"How to make your money last as long as you do".
I'm half way through it,seems like it's
written for complete novices.
They are financial advisers,advising on
property positively geared.
Any comments on these people?
Bruce G(Sydney).

Hi Bruce,

I too have read the book and heard Margaret Lomas speak at the Money Expo in Perth. I posted a while back asking too if anyone had heard anything about them but no one responded that they'd actually tried them out. I am going to get them out once my hubby has settled into his new job to see what they have to say for themselves.

They are financial advisers specialising in property (if your interested in shares they will put you onto someone who has some knowledge in this area), they are also a mortgage broker and they have a register of positive cashflow properties (for their clients). This I have gathered from the book and Margaret Lomas' talk.

Sorry I can't be of much help, perhaps if you email me at [email protected] I can email you back once I've seen them (won't be for about a month).

Regards
Trina

Have not read the book.

Saw consultant yesterday.

Stage 1
Offering financial plan for $330 refundable if they cant save you 20% on your interest
or shorten your loan by 20% in time.

Stage 2
Help in planning your wealth creation programme for approx $2200 with a free computer programme to help you monitor how you are going and a free organiser and a free electronic notebook to keep track of your expenses.

Supplying details of positive cashflow properties for which they will be a vendors agent.

Obtaining mortgages for which they will obtain a commission from financier.

By positive cash flow they include the tax rebate so you have to have an income to offset the tax loss against.

For a beginner I think it would be quite good to have someone hold your hand through the purchase of the first IP and maybe these people can do it.

At least a beginner would end up with a negative geared positive cashflow property at the first attempt.

Have not seen the property list yet so cant comment about possible capital gain

Usual disclaimers this is not advice etc,etc

Hi Chris

Without making comment on any organisation, you may find any good independent mortgage broker will do the first part and segments of the second part at no cost to you, since they are adequately renumerated by commissions from the lender.
