Interesting case - in a building that is constituted by Residential strata and Commercial strata, commercial owners have decided to increase the common wall and despite no consent from residential owners, submitted a DA which was approved by the council http://traveloga.blogspot.com/2014/06/development-application-for-strata.html
Residential owners corporation reached out to surveyor and found out the deposited plans show the boundary is face of the wall on the commercial strata side. That means the applicant (commercial strata) submitted development application without consent from the owners of the wall.
This was pointed out to the Council and the applicant. Council responded that everything is fine and they deem they have done correct decision. Applicant disregarded the documented evidence and started construction process on the property that doesn't belong to them:
