I imagine it would just require a boundary realignment to create two 'normal' looking blocks.

And the good news is that apparently have change their policy and no infrastructure contributions are payable. The last one I did you still had to front full 27k. I haven't seen the document to confirm but have been told by contribution team that is the case
 
A reconfiguration of a lot 2 into 2. Still a full app you just save on the infrastructure contributions
