Discharge home title or transfer or?

Hi everyone,

We have our PPOR loan with Westpac. It's actually paid off but we haven't closed it out. We are now using the equity get a new loan for investment with Macquarie (better rate).

Question: Do I discharge the title on our PPOR? Or will Macquarie need that title and therefore am I wasting my money paying the discharge?

Macquarie will need the title so you will need to discharge. Let Macquarie handle the process for you, they will send you a discharge form, contact Westpac and then arrange settlement.
