Alexie, i have already stated that i work for a company that specialises in helping people to invest earlier on in this thread, and in other threads too, so theres nothing to hide, so once again, i fail to see what the problem is?

It's one thing to say you work for a company helping people to invest. It's another to tell the truth and admit that your employer's (Tetra Group, yes?) ONLY project in the Docklands is the Watergate building (I'm just getting this from the website). Your employer specialises, in terms of the Docklands, in 'helping' people to invest in the Watergate building. Coincidentally the building you've had nothing but positive things to say about all throughout this thread.

Lozza, is your employer engaged by the purchaser or the vendor? That is, do they get paid by the developer selling the property, or are they paid by the person they are "helping to invest?"

Just curious,

Many thanks,

Jamie.

Alex,

The only reason i havent mentioned who i work for is not to hide it from anyone, or its not that i am embarrised, or anything along those lines. Believe me, most "would-be investors" out there would learn a lot from the people that i know as they are genuinely experts and they know a lot more than i do. To be honest, i am relatively new to this forum and i dont want anyone rubbishing my company, so thats why i wont disclose it if thats ok. And quite frankly, i dont trust anyone on this forum to not rubbish my company actually.

So if declaring to people out there that i work for an investment company that helps people to invest is not enough for you, then i apologise Alex.

No, it's not enough for me. Not when your employer has interests only in one building in the Docklands. If you work for a real estate agent who has propeties for sale/rent in various buildings in the the whole Docklands area and you talk that up, I don't mind if you don't disclose the company name: just say you work for an agent in the area.

When your employer only markets ONE building in the area, I think you have a duty to disclose so that people can make their own assessments of whether you might be biased. Saying it's an investment company masks the bias that you and your employer might have as your only financial interest is in one building. Forget the apologies: for the sake of other members I think you should disclose who, specifically, you work for.
