Doncaster hill area is hot hot hot. There are lots of multilevel dwelling construction sites in that area.

Tell me about it.. must admit the house was very special but a couple of my friends who are agents in the area are getting calls from prospective vendors who know think there houses are worth 1 million + lol

Oh trust me market is hot. I picked up a 2 bedroom renovated inner city house for $790k in Dec 14 in the best street of a suburb. A smaller 2 bedroom in the worst street of same suburb just sold 1.1m, which presumably means mine is 1.3-1.4m.

I only settled in February. Nuts is all I can say. This is much stronger than 09/10.

Didn't even plan to get it for cap growth, only because I've never seen something in that street sell. Had to fight off 4 bidders for it. Not Chinese mind you. Imagine if they found out Carlton and Parkville are way better suburbs, oh boy.
