Dual Living Plans

Hey all,

I've attached some plans of a proposed dual living residence my partner and I want to build.

Any feedback would be appreciated.

Please note that the smaller units living space needs to stay under 65m2. Additionally, that the block has a 22m frontage with 30m depth

My suggestion is not much different that what you have, just swap a couple of things in Unit 2 (the 2bedder)

Swap the kitchen and dining room around to create a large living/dining ( like unit 1)

use the same kitchen as unit 1 ( but turned 90 degrees) ( maybe a cavity slider into the garage- but not my favourite idea)

Move the bathrom over to give a better flow into the open plan living /Dining

Thanks for your replies.

I wanted to have an internal door from garage to house and thus why the kitchen is in the middle.

Additionally, I cant have an entrance at the front due to wasting 2-3m2.

Like your ideas though.

North is pointing directly left. So garages are pointing north toward the street.

With my 2nd idea, there would be a garage to hall entry access (outside the bedroom). The main front door would be on the side between the bedroom and bathroom.
