DYI Real Estate Kits

Hello
has anyone done either convayencing or a sale of a house through a kit, is it possible to get insurance if you make a mistake.
I went and saw a nice house for sale in the suburb of Teringie in Adelaide. This was a private sale, I noticed it was still being advertised each saturday on and off (on a sandwich board at an intersection) for about eight or nine months, I don't know wether it was sold or not, however that is a lot of lost weekends, not to mention having strangers traipsing through the house.
Regards Adam

Hi Adam,
They were all very straight forward. They were all 'second hand' properties.
It took us a while to get our heads around what at first seemed complex, but it really is a piece of cake (in my opinion). When we did use a solicitor we added the complexity of having to put everything thru another set of hands; there were extra time delays & trips in to his offices, then more trips to fix what he'd stuffed up. DIY & everything comes to your mailbox or email.
The only 'extra' search we do is a bankruptcy search.
Guy
