Met this gorgeous woman only a few short weeks ago. First time I had someone keep me on my toes. At one point I had a crazy thought that I may not be able to keep up with such a smart, driven, stunning powerhouse. I had to choose wether to back off or take a long hard look at myself and chose to step it up. Mate, glad I had the courage to man up and not long after take the leap.

It has been a short but powerful journey of really opening up and being entirely raw with another human being. So many exit doors opened up for the both of us yet we didn't hesitate to walk right past them.

Wanted to share the news with my mentors on this forum and the rest of the community!

Very short time frame, but it can work, I got engaged in 3 months and we are still together:)

That reminds me, I started a thread on diamond rings, that will keep you on your toes, most women love these the bigger the better:)

Me too, although we had known each other for a few months before we started dating. It will be 27 years, this year.
 
4 weeks.

I've met couples who were engaged on the first day they met and have been (quite happily) together for 35 years so far.

I was always thinking 2 years minimum, then it occurred to me that who we are now, and who we will be in 10 years time are completely different people. So the question became, is this someone with whom I can overcome any obstacle that comes across our path. It was a definite yes.

You can date someone for 10 years and not go into as much detail as we went. She's incredibly driven, and focused. 1 week in we were already intentional in our forward planning for our year/s ahead. We are incredibly aligned in our goals, ambitions and what we want for our lives. Contribution to society at large and massive personal growth.

Even the smallest thing is brought up and resolved immediately before it snowballs. I don't have to guess what is on her mind, she'll tell me immediately without making one wrong for it.

Feeling so much love for Laury right now.

Haha, too small a vision for her.
Her personal mentors are well known high flying movers and shakers in Australia.

Part of our planning was financial goals, her monthly income goal was 17x larger than mine.

Yep, I'm stepping things up a little after some serious positive coaching from her to remove limiting beliefs.

I've got married in 3 months knowing each other, 15 years later still growing our family :)

Congratulations! I knew I was going to be with my hubby within weeks of meeting too. We actually kept our engagement secret for over 6 months to try and avoid any crap. Just had our 27th wedding anniversary on Friday and all up together 29 years. still nauseatingly happy :D
Enjoy every minute of the ride.
 
Congratulations and it's not too soon. We were married within 3 months of meeting and are still married after 16 years. Enjoy your time together.
