Eviction

Hi,
I have a factory with a two year lease that has still 6 months left, but the current tenant hasn't paid me for the last three months. I gave the current tenant notice by the real estate to leave and also have made it official with a solicitors letter. I now have come to the end of the term that the tenant has to leave but still has his stock in my factory. Is it possible for me to lock him out and sell the stock to retrieve my loses?

You need to be getting advice from your lawyers on how you proceed. Your rights will depend on what is written in the lease and Victorian legislation.

If you are not confident in your lawyers then some members on this forum may be able to give you soem names of other lawyers in that filed of practice or the Law Institute of Victoria could do the same.
