Familoy law issue

An owner has a property they want sell by to rent to own.

A tenant wants to pay half the price of the house at the start, dont know why, not the issue anyway.

The owner wants to hide this money from the former partner until the owner get the OK from the family court to rent or sell the property.

Approached conveyancer re holding the money as a deposit taker. Cant be done cos not involved in the transaction.

Suggested to conveyancer that O&A be signed with settlement to be in accordance with terms of option to buy, that way they are involved in the transaction - still cant do cos blah blah blah.

any suggestions please??.
