FAQ: Why does "View Todays Posts" return posts from yesterday ?

The search is actually "active threads within the last 24 hours".

So while technically this is misleading given the name, they chose this method due to the fact that "today" is a relative term - depending on what timezone you are in. Safest to show the last 24 hours worth, which will achieve what you want no matter where you are in the world.

A BIG improvement on the last one. I'd be checking on today's posts, after spending 30 minutes starting at 11:45 PM... "today's posts" showed nothing.

But then, I'd only need to check that after I manually marked posts as read- it's all automatic in here... much better.
