Favourite Coffee Shop or Cafe

I've never been a real coffee drinker, meaning I drank it rarely and could never taste the differences.

However my new favourite coffee now comes from vending machines in Korea. I drank it almost every day over there.

Back in Aus now, stopped drinking coffee again.

Just had one this mornign - made in Singapore. Named POKKA. Cappucino isn a small can. Not bad, sweet which is how I tend to like my cold coffees

Yeah, I like those cold cans too:

But I was referring to the instant (hot) coffee that these machines do:

I'm not sure why but I just like the taste way better than any coffee I've had here. Could all just be in the milk and sweetner... no idea where the beans come from.

The drink you thought was coffee wasn't chicory by any chance?

Some culinary traditions, like that of Korea, include beverages made from roasted grain instead of coffee or tea (including boricha, oksusu cha, and hyeonmi cha). These do not substitute for coffee, but fill its niche as a hot drink (optionally sweetened

Had a great cup of coffee at the Tidbinbilla Nature Reserve today.
We went there and had a picnic. We brought a pot and boiled water for our coffee we brought from home.
We were the only ones there. Playing on the playground....Rob called it a flying fox.First time doing that. It was fun.

It's possible I guess, although I doubt it. I do remember my Mum being into 'Caro' when I was a kid, but haven't thought about it since then.

Bickfords iced coffee mix is more chickory than coffee and that's very yummy as a cold milk drink.

Haven't tasted the Caro.

Just remembered it was 'echo' that she was into, not Caro. It came in a black-and-white striped tin with maybe a touch of red, lower-case 'e', although I can't find an image for it on the net.

Edit: Here it is...

Ghastly stuff.

I prefer tea :D however I have a terrible weakness for the Irish Nut Creme coffee at Gloria Jeans- terribly suburban and un-trendy I may well be but it tastes delicious (plus I get to put as many of those little green sprinkles and extra caramel on as I like!! :p)

My friend owns The Crabbe Hole at Bondi Beach, so I'll put in a good word for them. SMH voted them as having the best view in Sydney...... and said they also make good coffees!!
