Floorplan Ideas

Hi Everyone,

I need your creativity caps on! I've just attached a floorplan of the current house we purchased.

We've got plans - don't we all? But for the floorplan, we would like to keep it cost-efficient, minimal re-arrangement but keeping in mind the ideas set below. On the other hand, if there are fantastic floor plans based on the ideas below, we wouldn't mind spending the extra to get there.

Some ideas:

-Open living
-Possibly a small third bedroom
-Fiance loves a nice kitchen with island, so probably that being a focal point
-Lounge or kitchen towards the back of the house as we'd like to have bi-folds into the backyard
-And somehow have the bathroom tucked away

(Keep in mind, the plumbing and electrical will all be redone as it's an older home)

Happy to hear your thoughts, see your plans (thank you for your time in doing so) and be guided by your wisdom and creative thinking.

It would be so much help to get me started.

Assuming using structure as is
Look at laundry to mirror bathroom, extend kitchen galley style into current laundry room.
Then remove wall family dining to open up, perhaps a nib of some kind for some sort of divide
