For those that are interested in such things, I attended a presentation by Deutsche Bank Group who have a managed investment fund of global property.They call it RREEF, don't know what that stands for. It has been going since Oct 2004.
Semmed to be a reasonable way of diversifying out of Australian property.
They did comment that Aussie LPT's have around 30% exposure off shore eg Westfield, but Deutsche say they have the expertise to include property options that the Aussie LPT's don't access.
Interesting stuff, and no doubt, the way of the future.
