If you are going to pay $80K for 1 room why don't you pay a little more and get a project home builder to put up a proper home?, I think eagle Homes would be the cheapest

Yeah good idea, still looking at cheaper builders / suppliers etc. Thinking its something to research for the future with the NSW government making the process that much easier these days.

Does anyone know how Granny Flats are viewed in Victoria by the Councils if they come to know that its rented out?

Do they actually ask you to demolish it or stop renting it out???
