Hi folks,

Few days’ back (Monday?) I heard on radio that it is an exhibition somewhere (I can track it down I guess, but...I have to finish paint kids bedroom) in Australia all about environmental awareness, agriculture, etc.

Anyway what they are talking about is - salinity, soil degradation, etc. as well as new type of grass been developed and released onto the market.
And apparently it can grow in almost any conditions, anywhere in Australia and requires to be cut only 4 times year.

Actually I think I have to find out the name of that product anyway.
Oh well, leave it with me. See what we can do.

Serge.

Serge,

Let me know if you find that this new grass also mows itself - I'll want
some!

Cheers,

No worries Dave,

One day I would like to get one my self.

* I cannot find the name of that product as yet. The whole article is not displayed on the site as yet (not listed in archives). Probably have to wait till it is published on the site and start from there.

Anyway here we go -

Practical Tips for Green Living and a new exhibition called Ecologic.

Saturday 4 August 7.30am, Monday 6 August 2001 2.30pm

Practical tips for green living. We walk around a new 'ecologic' exhibition that shows how to change our lifestyles and industries to avoid damaging the ecosystems. And a look at a building outside Brisbane that demonstrates how cheap and simple sustainability can be.

But what is name of that grass? Where is it?

Looks like have to wait till next week when whole article deposited into archive. Would be easier to access it. Or go to Power House Museum and have look there.

Serge.

Here's a different view, why not buy a sheep to eat the grass and then you can eat it

I have Greek friends who have perfected this strategy over decades - in
inner Melbourne!

...not kidding, I even found one of his escaped sheep in my back yard one
afternoon - and he lived 1 km away.

Cheers,

Dave
