grout haze- advice needed

lots of grout haze on porcelain tiles, not happy
tiling was done over a 10 days ago.

what have you tried in past to remove the haze? what works?

thanks.

Floor polisher. One of the ones with the circular brushes that rotate. They have weight and rotation speed that elbow grease just can't match.

You could also try a rag wet with 1:1 water and white vinegar. Then go over with a soft cloth or towel. I normally do this a few days after gouting but it can be done after a day if needed.

Rob's method is great if you have one.

I've got a mate in Brisbane who specialises in this for his living.

He uses a product called "Twister" pads. They're diamond-impregnated scouring pads that affix with velcro to a suitable floor buffing machine, and reportedly do the job of grout-haze removal with absolute ease.

If none of the other suggestions work you might find someone down your way who's able to take care of this for you, or possibly track them down on the net and rent a suitable buffer.
