Help! - Dishonest Management Rights manager

Hi all,

I suspect the person managing the holiday rental pool in which our apartment is being managed, is moving bookings around to suit himself (he owns a large number of apartments in the complex).

Does anyone have any experience with this and how was it resolved?

Is there any way I can demand an audit of what bookings his apartment has had vs other apartment owners in the complex? How would I go about this?

If the bookings are not what should be happening at this time of year can we remove our apartment from the rental pool without needing to give the required 3 months notice?

I am on the Body Corporate Committee if that helps.

You have a right to inspect to the accounts. Give them 7 days notice to review the buildings accounts and review them.

If you believe you have found reason to question them do so. If they stonewall you, then contact your states Department of Fair Trading.
