"Here's a Good Negotiating Strategy, Any Others??"

From: Rixter ®

Does anyone have any good negotiating tips & strategies they regularly use to effectively clinch a deal when putting in offers on IP?

When making LOW OFFERS, I know an Investor who has good success in getting them accepted by attaching to his offer a copy of his "Approval in Principle" from his bank made out for exactly the same amount of his "Low Offer", and he also attaches and a "Large Deposit" as an extra inducement in the form of a personal cheque.

This strategy works really well when you know the vendor is Motivated & wants a quick settlement.

Happy Investing,

Rix,

I've heard the cheque attached to offer technique works well.

Another good tip for negotiation is...

IF YOU DONT ASK, YOU DONT GET.

Basic but true, if you want a $500 deposit, ask for it, if you want 8 wk settlement ask for it, if you want longer cooling off, ask for it.
