Herron Todd White - March 2013 Month in Review

From across my desk......... enjoy!

Dear Reader

There have been some positive signs for the start of 2013. There is a feeling that in some of the slower sectors, there are more buyers fronting up to inspect properties and that sellers might be enjoying some power in the negotiation. ABS statistics are showing capital city median values have, for most centres, improved on the median figures from the same time last year.

It will be an interesting year as we watch and see if some momentum can build in the slower markets with lower interest rates and a growingly competitive banking industry up against the slowdown factor of a looming federal election and continued overseas uncertainty.

Enjoy this month’s issue where we take a look at what it takes to get confidence driving the markets and whether interest rates have an impact.
