Last week I received an email containing this message and some very disturbing photos of the concentration camps at Auschwitz and Berkenau. It was one of those-"pass this on to everyone you know" emails.
I have some questions.
1. Is it true that Muslims deny the Holocaust happened?
2. Have the UK really removed the Holocaust from it's curriculum, if it were there in the first place?
3. Do these chain emails EVER do any good other than informing people?
I'm an avid reader of history and have read mnay books on WWII and Hitler. I also have travelled in Germany particulaly to see Auschwitz which brought me to tears. It is an extremely somber place and there is NO denying the mountains of hair, teeth, suitcases and shoes that fill the rooms there. The photos and film they have of the time completely tell the story, so how can it be denied?
What a sad, sad world we live in, where people can turn a blind eye to such atrocities. It's very disturbing.
Surely not ALL Muslim's deny Auschwitz and the "cleansing of Jew's" ever happened?

It is a matter of history that when Supreme Commander of the Allied Forces, General Dwight Eisenhower, found the victims of the death camps, he ordered all possible photographs to be taken, and for the German people from surrounding villages to be ushered through the camps and even made to bury the dead.
He did this because he said in words to this effect: 'Get it all on record now - get the films - get the witnesses - because somewhere down the track of history some b*stard will get up and say that this never happened'
'All that is necessary for the triumph of evil is for good men to do nothing'
Edmund Burke
This week, the UK removed The Holocaust from its school curriculum because it 'offended' the Muslim population which claims it never occurred.
This is a frightening portent of the fear that is gripping the world and how easily each country is giving in to it.
