How do they get my phone number

wondering how agents get peoples phone numbers to cold call about selling their property etc

Have you ever provided your details at an open house or enquired about a property - chances are it's from that.

yeah that part would make sense Jamie. Sorry for being vague but what I meant was in those case where they are clearing telemarketing the street lol

RP Data in the old database allows you to draw out phone numbers for entire suburbs/streets depending on the input function the agent puts in.

Those on the do not call list are highlighted red with an astrix but they still call them.

You can also pull out the address of the owners even if they are not living there.

However Rp data is not always accurate and can give you the tenants phone number. I.E if vendor does not live there it wont give you their number.

Although you may be on the DNC list, there are still exemptions.

Also, have you ever read the privacy statement of any company? Leaves it pretty open.
