How do they get this values?

How do they get 481m2 and 501m2?

I can't see it either.

50.29*19.51 (entire block) is about 981.

Inner block (say 30*14) is about 420, leaving 561 for the outer block.

My rough calcs of driveway (5*30 = 150) plus bulk (19.5*(50-30) = 390) give me 540. (OK, so I'm out by 20m2, but it's rough, alright?)

As the say in the classics - "please explain"

Entire block approx. 981m2.

inner block approx. 30.29x 16 square less 2 small areas= 484m2, less the 2 small areas.

Aaah, of course, the external measurements written on the plan of the internal block are "misleading" due to the small cut-outs.

I really shouldn't do maths late at night!

Ahh, I was missing out the "driveway"!!
No wonder I was getting some sqm short!

For the 2 easements in the diagram, can I leave only 3m and 1.81m for them, or do I need to leave 3.5m and 2.5m just to be on the safe side?
