I see a lot of people with MGL...have they forgotten what they did to people during the GFC after they got out of Mortgage Lending?
 
Ask a broker in WA about Bankwest and the response will likely be positive.

Ask a non WA broker and the response will likley be negative.

They have 20% of the market share in WA.

I was referring more to their awful lending policy for investors
 
I second that...they are worst lender for investors. :rolleyes:

They have very little risk appetite...great for first homebuyers...but not investors.

I have set IP loans with them for clients in the early aquisition phase with no issues including top ups. Some at 95% +cap lmi which is high risk from a lenders perspective.

Am I missing something?

Ps. Have taken many more away though :)

Personally the terrible serviceability for investors is enough to avoid them as an investor lender. There are a number of other not so friendly policies for investors - inc trusts, granny flats etc.
