How to Add Value/Rent Appeal to my 70's Villa

How did you get early access? My place is settling in 9 days and I'd love to get in there earlier. Do you just ask the seller if they're cool with it? I thought it wouldn't be allowed for legal reasons, if settlement falls through, etc.

I just asked the real estate agent and they put it in the contract.
I did get to talk to the owner when I viewed the property, he was cleaning the place up. We had a decent chat so that might of helped.
He owned it for 12 years
