How to remove patio brackets?

I cut down my pergola which was attached to the fascia with these brackets. They appear to be riveted to the fascia so i can't unscrew them.
I do not need them anymore as I am getting a flyover patio roof installed I need to have them off so I can paint the fascia and guttering. How would you recommend I remove them? Do I drill out the rivets ie put a drill bit into the centre of them? I haven't drilled out rivets before.

Make sure you pull the rivet top off your drill bit each time or your drill will get smaller and smaller.

Like the others - use your drill. Wear eye protection & stand on a ladder or scaffold.

Thanks that video is helpful. I didn't realise how the head would come off
