HWS tenants issues

Hey peoples

just a quick question on where i stand on this.

last friday night my PM calls ands says that your tenants have reported that the HWS is not working and they need it by monday ( Long Weekend ) I say fair enough i will contact my leco and and call you back .
Called the PM back saying leco will be there sunday morning 8am hopefully tenants don't mind with that time.

Leco calls me at the job saying their in nothing wrong with the HWS no parts are on the way out and the tenants aren't home .

since tuesday i have been contacting my PM asking to contact the tenants to find out more they talk some BS and say we have left a msg with tenants

Now my leco is obvisouly going to charge a call out fee and rightly so as it was a sunday plus long weekend .

Where do i stand in this situation are the tenants liable for the fee ?
 
Tenants fault not yours, so your property manager can pass on the invoice for reimbursement by the tenant.

Of course tenants are wrong, the professional indicated that there isn't any problem.
 
Ensure that the invoice states:

1. the date and time of the callout,

2. the occupant was not present at the agreed appointment, and

3. that the unit was inspected and no fault was detected

before forwarding it to the tenants requesting payment.
