I-Build Homes

Happy to hear about anything in granny flats in general as well. Pros and cons!
I have also considerd the Bunnings kit and also by Granny flat experts but they want way too much (excess of $100k).

Seems like I have to apply for an owner/builder licence due to the cost of the work being in excessive of $10k (NSW). I have talked to a salesperson and they reckon that they can obtain approval through a private certifier for $1500.

This is the quote I was provided by them:

2 bedroom granny flats which are 60m2:

Parramatta: 46,179
Avila: $47,404
Melrose: $56,369
Portland: $32,872

Prices exclude GST. (Can I please confirm that under the Australian Consumer Law (ACL) whether this infringes s 18 for misleading and deceptive conduct?)

Prices include kit stages of lock up, lining, final and floor system.
