Having delievered pizzas to pay my way through uni, I must wholeheartedly agree with this one. Even if you don't eat much pizza or just don't care how stressed your pizza delivery person is, one hopes you have family or friends from out of town who come and visit you once in a while. Do them a favour. Make it obvious what number your house is.

Some local councils in Adelaide went through a phase of painting the number (white on black) on the gutter next to the driveway of every house. Works a treat.

I just wanted to add, that those little wooden shutters, in place of curtains, really gets the tenants all excited at the moment.

And I try and stay away from carpet, good quality heavy duty lino, in marble type patterns, or you can get really snazzy floor board looking lino now.

And fence paint, pay some kid to paint all the fences, gives them such a long life.
