Identify this palm tree

I need a bit of help from the gardeners if I may please.

I was given a few young palm trees but before I plant them out, I'd like to identify what type of palm they are. We have a huge back-yard, and we're keen on palms, but they're too hard to move once they're established of I put them in the wrong place.

They have what looks like to be flower heads coming off the base of the trunk - down near the roots.

Thanks.

Hey Prop, it looks like a palm grass to me which isn't a palm at all! They usually spread into clumps when put in the ground but never grow a trunk.

Google this in images. Molineria capitulata

Thank you both for your replies, but Rockstar is right. It is exactly as he said - Palm Grass. I recognize the flowers. I will have to use it for under planting. Cheers
