Hi guys,

Thanks for all the interesting responses to paint.

Ceiling fans in rentals, what do you recommend?

I've never had to put them in before, but this house has no fans or cooling in bedrooms, and the summers get to 40 degrees plus here..

I have been recommended fans with remotes and lights built in as they are cheaper to install. Does anyone have any fail safe brands?

There seems to be a huge variation in price, is it as simple as you get what you pay for?
Also does anyone have any online shops they recommend for purchase? Anything to avoid bunnings!:

Have you checked the ceiling height?

You really need 2.4m minimum for ceiling fans.

Fans with remotes would be much cheaper to install.
