There have been a lot of posts talking about the different insurance companies and people's experiences. Maybe try searching them?
Personally, we use Terri Scheer and EBM for our policies. Our Terri Scheer claim experience was painless -- from claim it was about 2 weeks and money was in our account. However, we provided all the paperwork and it was a pretty standard claim (rent loss and associated costs).
Haven't had to claim with EBM but I am sure I remember reading other people's experiences on this forum.
