Has anyone had experience with insuring a property on a 2 lot strata in Western Australia. We are having trouble finding a Company to insure with. The previous insurer no longer insures Strata properties
Do We really only require building + Contents insurance
excerpt from 2 lot strata law definition our property meets all these requirements
The buildings in each Lot are physically detached (which they are)
No building, or part of a building, is situated outside the Lots (for example, on common property)
The Owners have passed a unanimous resolution for the Owners Corporation not to have a sinking fund and/or not to have building insurance for both buildings.
