Insurance for multiple homes (+ home based business)

Hi guys I don't have a huge portfolio (5 properties, looking into my 6th) but it's enough to make insurance a bit of a hassle now. I've currently got all of them under AAMI for regular insurance and Terri Scheer for landlords. So that's 10 policies which is a bit of a pain to manage.

It happened incrementally so it didn't bother me at first but now I'd like to consolidate them all. I've just been so busy until now so I just haven't had a chance to streamline things.

My questions are:

1) Do you usually get a discount for combining them with one provider? Or do they only offer discounts for big time investors (like 20-50-100 houses)?

2) Is it still recommended that you keep them separate anyway (i.e. Terri Scheer is a specialist in rentals, company B is a specialist in homes with a home business etc)

3) One of my properties is rented to my parents who run a home business, and I only just found out regular insurance won't cover this. Which company do you recommend for this sort of thing?

4) Am I still going to have to pay 5 separate bills at minimum anyway? My deal setup would be to just pay one bill.

And I guess last of all, are there any companies that are particular stand outs? Or are they all roughly the same? I guess another thing that's motivated me into action is seeing so many new entrants, especially cut price providers like Woolworths etc, it's made me curious to see what's out there.
