Every time interest rates are about to change we get the press about the relationship between house prices capital gains and interest rates.
This is fairly intuitively correct but having a pedantic background I'd love to see proof. Does anyone know of anyone who's done real research and or statistics that prove the relationship between house price changes and interest rates (even better real interest rates).
