Hi Stephen,
This is a topic that is very close to my heart, so perhaps it is time for another article.
However no time limit promises here, but maybe after my Melbourne trip.
Just some thoughts:
1) I belive there is a direct correlation between interest rates and price.
2) If one traces back the median house price over each of the last 20 years, and puts the interest rate alongside, this can clearly be seen. (Given an approximate 6 months time lag)
3) 'REAL INTEREST RATES' interest me most, so I will attempt this research using the real inflated dollar value.
It will be useful to me if you all could pose your thoughts and questions in advance of the article - so that I can research / answer to the full extent of the enquiry.
Last thought - perhaps it is time to have an 'Articles' section on the forum for this purpose.
Regards,
Steve
GRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRR,
Methinks Bill Whatever has some explaining to do!
