Is buying without looking advisible?

i've purchased 3 times, gone into contracts 5. I've never purchased sight unseen, I think for the sake of 1 day to go down and view it and make sure you are satisfied isn't that hard and when you are dropping multiples of 100k probably a smart idea as well.
I'd say to the thread poster, unless you have the good systems in place, TRUST worthy advisors, i wouldn't engage in this practice.
Plus getting out their and mingling with agents, PM's and the public in the area doesn't hurt, gives you a better feel of the area. If i hadn't done that and went on hear say i most likely would have avioded the area i just purchased in.
Was in the shopping centre in that place today and felt quite comfatable with the different types of people around. Didn't feel as great tho when i spent the next 2 hours cutting up and making bundles of carpet and wrestling with the garage door.

interesting, I didn't know they can accept "printed" signatures in the contract.
