Is Right Property Group a right property group to deal with?

Brian I think when starting out it can be a good thing to get advice based on your personal situation so I don't think your money was wasted.
Stay reading here and keep asking questions.

M2015 I would be wary paying $10,000 for a mentor ship. What does it include? Is there personal guidance or just paperwork and a course? Often people thing having a mentors hip means someone else will do all the work for you and find you properties. They won't. A buyers agent will find you a property.

Everyone is different and in my case using a buyers agent taught me what to look for and gave me the confidence to then start buying in my own.

The problem I see at the moment with buyers agents is that because of all the hype at the moment it is difficult for them to keep up with the demand so if your goal is to buy under value you may be disappointed. For others finding the right property is their goal. You need to define what you want and see if the buyers agent can help you fulfil that. Mind you it wouldn't be easy for a buyers agent to say no don't give me your $10,000 as it's difficult to find properties now.
Food for thought.

Thanks travel bug. I don't think I wasted money either. I have learnt a lot since joining this forum including from yourself whether it be on the forum or the night at Wenty leagues for the somersoft meet up.

I am still learning everyday and I have a passion for property and can't wait to start buying and possibly buy, renovate and flip properties full time. I just have to get over my finance issues I am having.

Why would you want to buy through RPG if they manipulate people to make people believe that they have found an 'under value' property? those who have little knowledge, time and little confidence are their best clients..(or victims)

just don't try to work out exactly how they try to do things or become too knowledgeable because it will then all become very obvious..

ask questions and do your research yourself

I didn't go there to ask about their services because I already knew about that. I went to find out about loans and stuff I didn't know about investing etc.

Not sure why you raised how busy they said they were then. It's an old trick to make their services seem so darn good and desirable.

Anyway, would love to hear further about this MAP session and why you thought it was so good if you'd like to share?

He helped us with questions that we should be asking professionals to make sure we are building the right team for our investing goals.

What we should be looking at buying, yes I know I probably could have found that on here.

What to look for when choosing a bank etc

I was saying about how busy binvested was because Virgo said that why don't they go straight to Nathan at binvested and I said that they told me there was a waiting list because they are so busy.

re: Property Mentor such as Helen Kollier Kogtevs

Thanks very much.
RPG already rang me late last night and explained what happened.
They said there has been some computer issues. They were very nice about it and understood my situation. They also gave me the option to proceed or not to proceed and guaranteed that they will attend to whatever queries I might have.
They also said that they will ensure that the property I purchase is the right one for my situation. They also said they are indeed busy but they treat clients equally. They do the due diligence and after you have purchased they will still keep in touch to check that the property is working for you or if you need to renovate and also look at your portfolio.
Helen's coaching on the other hand said is teaching you how to do due diligence and look for the property yourself. The mentoring is for some weeks where you have to study the materials they send you and you can ask them questions for a year or two and you can be confident they said to be buying on your own after this.
Any thoughts?

Hi Niroj,
Did you or anyone you know has experience with RPG? If so can you please share them? Did you use other buyer's agent or mentors?
thanks

I go to their open forums every two weeks in Sydney and see people buying good deals from them all the time.. If you've got limited money to spend and time to spend then don't get a BA.. If you don't have time and have money, then do it..
They do get some good deals sometimes, but many times they're just like every other property group and show you inflated expected prices and then get the property for a price you could probably negotiate yourself if you show up at the agent's office and be nice to them.. in saying that, they just bought 4 units in Logan all up $108k so 27k each...

I would say one thing though.. Anybody who is looking to do a MAP session with Binvested I would suggest doing a Blueprint with RPG instead. They're great and completely free and they give you a report of what strategy they think you should take and what to do as well as the notes from the meeting you had.. I've had both the MAP session and Blueprint. I got nothing out of the MAP session and paid $300 whereas I got a lot from the Blueprint and it cost me absolutely nothing...

In summary, I think RPG is the most unbiased group i've dealt with so far which is good.. in saying all this, I haven't bought from them and one of the forum members here has said they favour the new people.. Buyers agents are great when the rates are high and there's heaps of mortgagee in possession sales..

there's another group who is run by Simon Pressley and he just got inducted into some agent hall of fame or something like that.. The agency is called propertyology.. They seem good and open with their research...

RPG will be like family in the beginning, this does NOT mean that they will take care of you. Yes I have had experience with them and I have *all* evidence to prove how they are liars!! when i questioned them they did not say a word!! 'blue print'? i never had any such thing!

yes i did buy a property through them and i'm glad that it was the first and LAST!!!

I cannot explain all details as it will take too long and i really shouldn't expose too much for various reasons.

there is a reason why i took the time and energy to WARN you! it's up to you if you want to believe it or not. watch out!!

go for the ones who are REEBA members..

remember the more they smile and the more they say they'll take care of you the more you should be suspicious!!!

Due to your low contribution to the forum before this thread how do we know you are not a competitor?

We have purchased properties in Sydney and Brisbane using their services.
RPG located, negotiated, helped us through settlement and managing agent contracts.

Negotiations in some cases took a couple of months for the same property.
Initially I attended their fortnightly seminars at Parramatta for few months.
At these seminars you will meet new and experienced investors and investment specialists some of whom have already built a portfolio using their services.

The information is all here in this forum. However for me I needed someone to hold my hand and walk me through.

These are very highly leveraged investments to be held long term. I wanted to avoid major mistakes in the process and use their experience in building a property portfolio.

Thanks for sharing

If i was a competitor i wouldn't have bought a property through them and i wouldn't have had this experience.

Due to your comment how do we know that you don't work for RPG? You sound defensive.

Can tell you I don't, but it is up to you to make your own opinion.

It is the same we have to make up our own opinion if you bought or not.

It is always something that I am mindful of when people post negative posts or positive posts about a company without having any previous contributions to the forum.

Just to note 5 out of 5 posts you have made are in this thread out of my 500+ posts it would be probably 2 or 3. See how this can be seen that you are a competitor?

I find it hard to believe that you have bought from them and have never heard of their "blueprint". They have been offering it for years and mention it at most meetings. As a beginner I thought it was good, although quite generic.

haha love it when newbies come on and bag companies..
Please tell us about your dud purchase mate...

Also 5 out of 5 posts have been in this thread and nothing since a month ago.

I would guess a competitor or something and ill leave it up to you to decide if I work for RPG.... I didn't think I sounded defensive
