Jamie McIntyre

Ive watched his Dvds and stuff and he seems very very intelligent and knows what he is talking about, and i like him. But i'm not an investor yet and i wanted to know what people who have already started investing and are possibly at the same level as Jamie think of him.

Very Very interesting. I gathered that his $5000 homestudy package was a money making thing, but Despite his intentions Is there any value to what he teaches? Is it all garbage?

Watching his videos that he charges lots of money for, my impression was the total opposite.
Seeing him continuously thumble through explaining call & puts was comical.
That people paid thousands for that product was not, it tells me you don't have to be that bright to be a guru, just appear that way.
There was some good stuff in there, but once you discover the fiction, how do you know what is fact or is'nt? You tend to doubt most of it.

Luckily i havnt been one of those. I only ordered some free Dvds online. I havnt been sucked into his home study package for 5k.

Thats true about being doubtful, though his strategies might work if you do extra research and sort the fact from fiction. Is he just a scam with a few good ideas? I think the scam is in the homestudy pacakge, in one of the free dvds i ordered which i watched yesterday, at the end of the seminar when it was time for him to pitch his "well youve seen im great, now spend 5k on this pacakge to make you a millionaire" he got very tense and offered for people who were "good decision makers" $1000 discount on the package if they bought it within the 2 minute break.

I wont say much but I am a member of this "life changing package" Now I'm on here, and other property forums as well as stock forums trying to find out how things work and get advice..... Need I say more..

Thats good youre learning for yourself. As i said, his strategies may have value but with extra research and doing it, we will only ever know then. :)

I would just say he's "not yet competent" and from the "fake it till you make it" school of thought.

JUS085, we're all learning, so pls share your experiences.

With the program, or in general?

Nothing positive with the program. Tho I don't want to be the one to slander something which may work for some people on an open forum. It certainly isn't working for me and I have been with them for 18months now. If I were able to go back, I'd sooner spend the money at the casino!

Buy a bunch of recommended books, ask a bunch of questions to people on the forums. Read some interviews. Find people you know have IPs, trade the stock market etc etc.. I think that's where the truth lies.

I'm no one yet, I don't own a house, I hold a few stocks and I've just started trading options. Tho I do believe I am at a progression point. I have learned what's around, started asking questions. Saved my deposits etc etc. If I had been a little more intelligent on the initial start up, I'd have saved myself a lot of time. IMO Don't let mobs like this take your hard earned cash just to tell you what on offer, get out there and find it for yourself. I was so confident for the first 6months that they were my answer. I didn't bother with forums, I didn't ask anyone who I knew traded the stock market or owned IPs questions. I was solely reliant on the information provided because I had so little knowledge that I didn't know how much more to everything there really was.. Not a fatal mistake, but I do believe it cost me a year. Being 23 it isn't so bad, all part of the process some might say. But In reality, time is money.. I could have had my first IP by now or certainly been close to.

Read his book, and a few ok ideas in there, but nothing I have adopted for myself. He is one the many who profess to 'know all about it' when in reality he has developed a system that works well during boom time.

Go to a decent bookshop, and read a few different authors ideas on property investing, then read some forums and ask questions. Then, actually buy an IP, because that is when the real learning begins.

There are certain "red flags" to look out for when dealing with these spruikers.
For example, using the words "Academy" (like it's actually an educational institution) or "Club" in the organisation name.
Also, 21st Century "Academy" bombard my inbox (yes, they got my email address from somewhere) with junk mail all the time. Despite my best efforts to have them remove me from their list, they persists.
They also call my mobile phone periodically with pre recorded messages.
I have grave concerns when dealing with people who use these tactics.
As has been said before, listen to what various people have to say and integrate the ideas that resonate with you into your strategy.
No individual or organisation has all the answers as we all have different circumstances, objectives and risk profiles.

Personally I have learnt a lot from Jamie McIntyre seminars. They used to charge for this but now they are free....if you can cope with the sales pitches incorporated in these seminars.

I got all their free stuff.....but did not pay for anything.

There you go....;)

JUS085,

What strategies taught in the package did you actively apply and how long did you apply them for?

Did you have any positive results? If so, what were the results?

What negative results did you get? why do you think they occurred? And what could you do to avoid them happening again?

Good on you for starting. Plenty have people are in the same position without buying his $5k package.

I haven't bought any thing from Jamie McIntyre, but I have a few of his free Ebooks. They are worth a read. I found them enjoyable.

I received the free DVD and watched it. Jamie basically talked about changing to a positive mindset (which I loved and really enjoyed) and then about options trading, which I am not interested in. So overall, I got a but very little else...it was a bit "The Secret"....
