July Melbourne MSN/Somersoft IP meeting

Folks,

the July (booked it in nice & early) Melbourne MSN/Somersoft IP Group meeting will be held at Victoria University, Footscray Park campus, details being:

Date: Tuesday 22nd of July 2003
Time: 6.30pm
Building C, room C410B
Address: Ballarat Road, Footscray (cnr Hoadley Crt)
Parking: Plenty of parking opposite the campus on Ballarat Road & it's FREE
Agenda: well no agenda as yet, but we always have lots to talk about, especially in these even lower interest/low inflation times.
Cost: Free of course
Tea/Coffee facilities will be available

Note: vending machines with drinks, snacks, icecreams & cappuccinos are 50m away on the same level, so you may want to bring along some coins if you intend to use them...

As always, you don't have to RSVP, just show up... I hope to see you there...

Folks,

just a quick update on our meeting last night (22/07/03), we had 19 people in attendance & went till 10.30pm (with a couple of new faces, which was good to see)... topics of discussion included:
* vacancies & selecting good PMs
* number of IPs per PM
* renovations, kitchen suppliers, etc...
* interstate investment/due dilligence
* trusts/tax
* interior decorating
* "Social Gathering" for the 9th of August (as seen in a recent post from Ruby)
* current market/climate
* new investor tips
* Went through GA's development drawings & quotes
* etc...

I hope to see you on the 9th of August at the social gathering, & remember if you will be attending, please RSVP/inform Ruth (Ruby) to ensure we book enough tables at the venue...
