Landlords in WA brace yourself for $1500

I see energy audits will be compulsory by next year, another $1500 outlay before you can sell or lease your property. This is on top of the smoke alarm and RCD imposition

All up there's about $2500 of costs there, say 10 weeks rent. Rich greedy landlords seem a soft target and it seems to be getting worse.

In Qld from start of 2010 you have to produce sustainability declaration to sell. i didn't think it impacted on rentals though. Are they bringing that to WA too?
