Latest valuations for South East Qld release

Thanks for the good/bad news....

Wow weeeeee.....
I just found out my beachfront land at Hervey Bay has gone up 50%.

I guess this meets market sentiments...

Will need to save that bit extra for rates..

Ok my invest properties have gone up anywhere between 25-45% on each property (4), does this give grounds for a new valuation? Will the valuers take this into account at all or do they solely work on latest sales?
 
I guess the only grounds it gives is the local governments an opportunity to raise the revenue received with increase rates payable
