Live in Backyard Bungalow, Lease House

Hi,

Quick question. Is it possible to lease a house, and live in backyard bungalow? What are the possible pros and cons? Is that type of leasing option even possible?

Cheers,

Yes it is, do it yourself no pm as your there every day, its cash money aswell.

Just don't brag about it hey!!! As tax office will catch you if your not declaring

No prob but just do as Shan said.
I do it with one of mine only it's not me living in it , just a second tenant.

There's all sorts of things you can do to separate the situation too , no permits needed . Like just put a fence through t he yard or even split the drive in two with a fence.
Mine has a lane a the back so I just threw in some back gates , split the yard with a fence and it's now virtually a second rental . Hasn't been a problem and makes the properties way cp.
Probably if you went asking councils they'd throw the works at you but in reality 1000's of people do just have someone living in the bungalow anyway even if it's just one of the kids..

Cheers
