Live your life backwards

With thanks to Woody Allen:

In my next life I want to live my life backwards.

You start out dead and get that out of the way.

Then you wake up in an old people's home feeling better every day.

You get kicked out for being too healthy, go collect your pension, and then when you start work, you get a gold watch and a party on your first day.

You work for 40 years until you're young enough to enjoy your retirement.

You party, drink alcohol, and are generally promiscuous, then you are ready for high school.

You then go to primary school, you become a kid, you play.

You have no responsibilities, you become a baby until you are born.

And then you spend your last nine months floating in luxurious spa-like conditions with central heating and room service on tap, larger quarters every day and then Voila ...

You finish off with a bang!

I used to work in the health care industry for a time; mainly ICU, but in the nursing homes at the start.

Got to see many old people at the end of their lives....

It is scary how much like babies we become again;

can't walk or speak,
wearing nappies
being dressed by adults
eating soft food.
You lose it in the reverse order you gain it when you get old. My mother works in aged care and remarks how similar small children are to old people who are just starting to get demented - except children grow out of it, old people don't :(
Lot to be said for orgasms tho'.

Saw Benji Button the movie, I LOVED it!

Cried actually. It is a movie I would gladly watch again, that doesn't happen that often with me + movies. Obviously it's not everyone's cup of green tea.
